How it works
If you are painting or renovating we can take your blinds away and clean and store them until you are ready to have them put back up. This keeps the blinds safe from damage while construction is taking place.
Bookings are essential. Booking time is usually 3 to 5 working days, although in the busy times, spring cleaning and pre Christmas, this may extend to 2 weeks. So get in early.

What is Ultrasonic cleaning
Ultrasonic cleaning is the most effective yet gentle way to clean blinds.
It works by pulsing high frequency sound into a water and detergent medium creating a cavitation effect. In laymen terms the ultrasound travels through the water like pressure waves, behind each wave there is a stretching effect that causes the water to vaporize. This causes millions of microscopic bubbles to form. The next pressure wave collapses the bubbles and it this microscopic movement of the water that does the cleaning. This happens 26,000 times per second.
Although all you can feel in the tank is a mild tingling sensation it is a surprisingly effective way of cleaning.

Blind cleaning prices
The price of cleaning blinds is dependent on the size and type of blind to be cleaned. Wood look and timber blinds are heavier and need more handling than a vertical blind for example.
We try to keep it practical and simple by by grouping blinds as Very small, small, medium etc.
The sizes are;
In each case a differently shaped blind of equal area would be priced as the equivalent size.
A 10% discount applies to jobs of more than 10 blinds.
a further 10% discount applies to cleaning jobs that are dropped into and picked up from our workshop.

- very small up to 600 mm wide 900 mm drop
- small up to 1400 mm wide 1300 mm drop
- medium up to 2400 mm wide 1300 mm drop
- large up to 2000 mm wide 1800 mm drop
- sliding door up to 2400 mm wide 2200 mm drop
- very large up to 3600 mm wide 2200 mm drop
